NEBRASKA CITY - Otoe County prosecutors have filed a second degree murder charge against a Nebraska City man accused of stabbing 20-year-old Jacob Adams on Sunday night.
Sebastien Dahlen Hall, 20, is also charged with using a deadly weapon to commit a felony. The murder charge alleges malice, but does not claim premeditation.
Nebraska City police were dispatched to 602 S. Seventh St. at 7 p.m. Sunday on a report of an assault.
Police say Adams, who attended Nebraska City High School with the Class of 2013, was involved in a confrontation with Hall and another man. Adams was transported by ambulance with wounds to his throat and chest. He died at CHI St. Mary's.
The other man is being held at the Otoe County Detention Center, but has not been charged with a crime.
Hall is scheduled for an initial appearance in Otoe County court this afternoon.
Nebraska City High School will have counselors available on Tuesday from 1-3 p.m.
