CLARKSON - HWY 15 is currently blocked off while authorities are cleaning up a cattle truck accident approximately three miles north of the HWY 91 junction.
According to Stanton County Deputy Goeken, the accident occurred due to a medical incident where the driver lost consciousness around 3:40 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

“We determined on scene that a cattle semi out of Emerson, Nebraska was southbound on HWY 15, lost control, rolled down into the ditch. We're currently working to offload livestock out of the trailer,” the deputy explained.
The driver was taken by Clarkson Rescue to Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point with non life-threatening injuries.
As of 6:30 p.m. authorities were continue to wrangle up cattle and clear the highway.
