HUMPRHREY - The St. Francis boys have staked their claim as the top basketball team in Class D2.
The #2 Flyers hosted the #1 Chargers of Riverside Thursday evening and came out victorious. The game was neck-and-neck through three quarters of play as St. Francis trailed 41-40 going into the final period. However, Riverside couldn't contain the Flyers in the fourth quarter as St. Francis exploded for 26 points to grab the 66-56 win.
