FREMONT - Fremont Health is soon to host the grand opening of the much anticipated Acute Nursing Tower.
Construction started about two years ago, which involved an addition on the south side of 23rd St. and a complete renovation and remodeling of the preexisting tower that was built in 1970.
Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator at Fremont Health, Amy Fachman, says the tower was necessary to accommodate to the large hospital staff and surplus of equipment that correlates with healthcare today.

“We just really want patients to have a more enjoyable time when they're here, if they unfortunately have to be in a nursing setting like that,” Fachman says. “This will probably be the last chance to be able to get in the floors and kind of see the new rooms and the new layout, and all the neat things the new building has to offer.”
The ribbon cutting is taking place on Monday, October 26th at 10:30 a.m in the main lobby, through the entrance on the east side of Fremont Health.
