LINCOLN - The Riverside Chargers were able to overcome a tough Friday loss as they took down Parkview Christian 68-49 and claimed the D-2 third place title.
Noah Valasek was the Charger star with 26 points, 22 of those coming in the first half alone. Senior Tanner Hudson had a nice morning himself, scoring 18 points despite being on the bench for much of the first half.
Parkview Christian also had a duo with strong Saturday performances with Tucker Pinyan scoring 21 points and Henry Tarksley second on the team, knocking down 18 points for the Patriots.
The Chargers finished the 2015-2016 season with a 23-4 record.
