Upcoming Seminars Aimed at Keeping Columbus Businesses Alive and Well

COLUMBUS - An area business is hosting two employment-based seminars dedicated to the success of Columbus workers. The Firm Business Brokerage of Omaha is welcoming community members to the free-of-charge, Retiring or Aquiring: Keeping Jobs in Columbus, seminars at the Columbus Chamber of Commerce July 23rd. President of The Firm Business Brokerage, Cortney Sells, says The Firm's main goal is to educate and assist both business owners and individuals interested in buying a business. http://media3.floodradio.com/columbus/2015/07/Sells-SOT.mp3 “We want to make sure that everyone understands that our main objective is to keep jobs in Columbus, and to keep money in Columbus. So be it you are looking to buy a business or a business owner is looking understand the steps of retirement,” Sells says. “We just want to educate and encourage folks to keep business in the Columbus area.” The first seminar goes from 12-1:30 p.m. and will be targeted at existing business owners who are looking ahead at their business and interested in the value of their company. Lunch will be provided. The second seminar begins at 2:30 and goes until 4:00 p.m. and will inform the attendees on the aspects of growing an existing business. There will be a Community Barbecue outside the Commerce proceeding the second seminar.
